Operation Purple Camps are Open.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! National Military Family Association is excited to announce that they are accepting applications for the 2016 Operation Purple® Camp season. They have camps in 25 locations this year, and are ready to serve 2,800 military kids.
The Army Engineer Spouses’ Club (AESC) announces the availability of ARMY ENGINEER MEMORIAL AWARDS (AEMA) to qualifying high school seniors. The original award was established in memory of Army Engineer Officers who died in Vietnam and is now given annually to honor all Engineers who die in the line of duty.
Beginning in 2007, a new AEMA award, the Geraldine K. Morris Award, was endowed in addition to the original AEMA awards. This award was established in memory of Geraldine K. Morris and is available to a qualifying high school seniors who intend to enroll in a program leading to a nursing degree.
This can be a renewable award for a total of four (4) years.

Please plan to attend the College and Information Fair being held on Tuesday, January 5th from 5:00 – 7:30. This event will take place at The Tolson Youth Activities Center, located at Building 4-1431, Corner of Normandy & Reily Rd, Fort Bragg, NC 28307.
This information fair is for grades 9-12 and is open to Child, Youth and School Services (CYSS) and military ID card holders.

The theme for the Army’s 2015, Month of the Military Child (MOMC) is “Their Lives, Their Stories”. The intent of this theme is to tell the Army’s Story through the eyes of our children. MOMC is observed throughout the entire month of April on behalf of military children in honor and recognition of their courage, perseverance and contributions to the Nation.
